A few interesting facts...

When you've lived for almost six decades, it's hard to include every achievement so here is just a summary of some of my favourite moments.

Accomplishments

  • Currently a PhD Research Student with Brunel University London, Arts & Humanities Department
  • MA in Theatre Directing with University of East London
  • Previous Microsoft Skype in the Classroom Educator bringing online classes to students in Pakistan, Argentina, Portugal, Saudi Arabia and other locations.
  • Presented 'Change Maker Award' for contribution to University of East London after serving 2-year tenure as Vice Chair of Alumni Advisory Board
  • Classically Trained Actress (London Centre of Theatre Studies & American Academy of Dramatic Arts, New York)

Director, Playwright & Author

  • Co-author and Director of Drama for Dr. Keith Piper's 'Viva Voce' project, addressing the racist imagery behind Rex Whistlers 'masterpiece' currently on display at Tate Britain, London
  • Winner, British Theatre Challenge 2016 for my play, 'iDOLLatry'
  • Written, Produced and Directed a plethora of plays around the fringe theatres of London, including The Contract, Pinocchio, Wolf Pack, The Red Dress, Cornflakes, and Christmas-favourite, the adult-only panto, 'Good Luck Rumpy'.
  • Established 'Theatre in the Barn' in Epping offering affordable theatre experience to local residents
  • Have authored and published 2 books with the 3rd to be released on 28th October 2026 with The Book Guild.

Radio Producer & Presenter

  • Established the award-nominated radio show, 'Jabber Talk' on Colourful Radio as Lead Host and co-producer interviewing such people as Sir Lenny Henry, Sir Melvin Bragg, Dr. Gina Millar, and as in the photo, A-List Hollywood Actor, Wendel Pierce. 
  • Director, co-author and co-producer for award-nominated drama radio show, 'Barking Mad' on the Colourful Radio platform which ran for 3 seasons
  • Director, co-author and co-producer for radio show, 'The Reading Chair' on the Colourful Radio platform
  • Co-host and co-producer of the 'Jabber Talk Podcast' talking about current headlines.

Public Speaker

  • Delivered keynote speech for University of East London Opening Convocation (as pictured)
  • Guest speaker and workshop leader for various corporate, creative and charity events

Project & Event Strategist

  • Self Employed Project & Event Strategist for over a decade, working with various organisations and charities to help bring their visions to life
  • Most recent notable contract was with Lambeth Palace working as the Prayer Coordinator for the Archbishop of Canterbury's National Prayer Initiative
